Children

Lately, I have been bumping into a lot of my friends that have kids. I really don't know how they do it. I mean I have a kitten and she drives me crazy. She's always running around like a crazy person. She likes to attack the blinds, my hair, shoes, etc. She hides toys, socks and what ever she can get her hand on. I don't have enough energy to keep up with a kitten. How would I deal with a child?
